MEDEQUIP has been in business for over 16 years, training thousands in proven lifesaving skills. Our instructors are certified by the American Red Cross (ARC), the American Heart Association (AHA), and American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) to teach CPR and First Aid, and in order to be the best possible instructors, they have completed instructor recertification courses in order to teach the latest and most updated material. We offer over 22 different courses. For those that have taken CPR before, we can offer a refresher/recertification course. We offer courses within 100 miles from our office.

Adult/Child/Infant CPR - NON Certified Course - one 3 hour course ($40.00 per person). Skills include: recognizing signs and symptoms of heart attacks and strokes. Covering adult, child, and infant CPR, helping a choking victim.
Adult/Child/Infant CPR - Heartsaver (complies with OSHA requirements) - one 3½ hour course ($45.00 per person). Skills include: recognizing signs and symptoms of heart attacks and strokes. Covering adult, child, and Infant CPR, and helping a choking victim. In this course, we also cover responding to emergencies before the ambulance arrives. Review of AED (Automated External Defibrillator AKA shock machine) and pocket face masks skills.
Adult/Child CPR with AED training - one 4 hour course ($50.00 Per person). Skills include: recognizing signs and symptoms of heart attacks and strokes. Covering adult and child CPR, and helping an adult/child choking victim. In this course, we cover responding to emergencies before the ambulance arrives. We review usage of pocket face masks, and training in the usage of an AED (Automated External Defibrillator AKA shock machine). Price includes the pocket face masks for each participant.
Child/Infant CPR - one 4 hour course ($45.00 Per person) A MUST for mom, dads, expecting parents, grandparents, babysitters and anyone else that spends time with children from 0-8 years of age. We review prevention of accidents, child proofing, poison emergencies, infant/child rescue breathing, infant/child CPR, helping an infant/child choking victim and much more! This is a non-certified course; we offer the same course with certification for $40.00 Per person.
CPR PRO w/AED basic course (BLS) - 2 day course, 2 1/2 hours each day. ($95.00 per person), or one day 5 hour course. For lifeguards, EMTs, and professional medical personnel. This 8 hour course covers Adult CPR, infant/child CPR and rescue breathing, helping choking victims of all ages. We cover professional CPR skills, AED training. This course meets the highest level of CPR training under the BLS system and our course has the latest rollouts, material and course information. Price includes book and pocket face mask.
CPR - PRO w/AED RECERT course (BLS) For Lifeguards, EMTs, and professional medical personal. If you've taken CPR within the past two years, it's different. ($50.00 per person). This 3 hour course covers a review of Adult CPR, infant/child CPR and rescue breathing, helping choking victims of all ages. We review professional CPR skills, AED training. This course meets the highest level of CPR training under the BLS system and our course has the latest rollouts, material, and course information (including the all new Child AED). Being trained in CPR within the past 2 years is a prerequisite for this course.
ARC First Aid (3 different levels: Standard, Basic, RTE) Call for prices and hours for each course.
The American Heart Association (AHA) First Aid course. This is a NEW 3 hour first aid course. ($50.00 per participant). This course meets OSHA requirements, and covers basic first aid.
RTE - Responding To EmergenciesThis is all the above courses rolled into one course. It is a 5 night, 4 hours per night course. It meets OSHA, NY State, and NJ State regulations. All camps must have either EMTs, or RTE trained personnel. At this course you will learn; Adult, Child, Infant CPR and rescue breathing, helping choking victims of all ages. We cover professional CPR skills, AED training. 2 person CPR, BVM. This course meets the highest level of CPR training under the BLS system and our course has the latest rollouts, material and course information (including the all new Child AED). This is the highest level of first aid and CPR offered by the ARC. Cost $280.00 per person.
